1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the READ website or becoming a member, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.

2. Membership Types and Access

READ offers:

  • Free Membership: Basic access to community updates and select resources.

  • Paid Memberships:

    • READ Developer – Access to exclusive content, project opportunities, and events.

    • READ Affiliate – For service providers supporting development projects.

    • READ Corporate – For organizations engaging with developers at scale.

    • READ Partner – Strategic partners and sponsors who collaborate with READ initiatives.

Membership benefits, pricing, and terms may change periodically, and updates will be communicated via email or posted on the website.

3. Member Responsibilities

Members agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of login credentials.

  • Refrain from sharing restricted member content publicly or with non-members.

  • Conduct themselves professionally in all READ-affiliated spaces, both online and offline.

Violation of these terms may result in suspension or termination of membership.

4. Events, RFPs, and RFQs

  • Event participation is subject to registration and availability.

  • READ may photograph or record events; participation implies consent unless otherwise specified.

  • For RFP and RFQ opportunities, READ acts as a connector, not a contracting agent, and does not guarantee project awards or outcomes.

5. Payments and Renewals

  • All paid memberships require valid payment information.

  • Membership fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

  • Automatic renewals may occur unless canceled before the renewal date.

6. Intellectual Property

All materials on the READ website—including text, graphics, videos, and logos—are the property of READ or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

READ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our site, services, or community interactions.
All services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any user or member at our discretion, particularly for violations of these Terms or harmful conduct within the community.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of law principles.
