WHO WE ARE

Building a Stronger Future for Minority Developers: READ's Mission to Connect, Support, and Promote Diversity in the Industry

We do this through a variety of methods, including mission-driven financing, social innovation programs, capacity building, and impact investing. Our main focus is on empowering communities and helping them overcome disinvestment, with a particular emphasis on issues such as health care, education, housing, and aging with dignity.

Since 1982, we have disbursed over $2.5 billion to support these efforts. Based in Arlington, VA, we have local offices in several other cities across the United States. Our work has been recognized by S&P Global and Aeris for its impact and effectiveness.
